One: When audiences coincide with castle attendance days, congratulations and thanks that were previously conducted separately at the lord's quarters shall not require such formality and shall be handled at the main castle ○ When chief retainers withdraw, they shall visit the lord's quarters, as announced by Tagaya Gonbei on the 1st day of the 8th month
However, pages and close attendants shall offer congratulations and personal thanks at the lord's quarters
One: Congratulation notices shall be submitted the evening before
However, only those on official duty shall serve
During departure and return to the castle, all shall serve as before; service to senior councilors remaining in Edo is not required
One: Regarding falconry matters during the lord's absence, although close attendants handle falconry affairs, there are some disadvantageous handlers, so arrangements shall be made for falconry officials to report directly to guard post heads as before
One: Construction officials and master carpenters' correspondence and urgent inspections shall be discontinued
However, when unavoidable matters arise, they may proceed after consultation
