現代語訳
学問の少ない人でも手本は必ず敵に向かうが如くせよ。打物（武芸）を筆をもって習い、現在の所領を取り願って蔵を満たすべし。【この一行は写し間違いか】知行すべきなり。これによって文字を一つ一つ勢力を励ますべし。
英語訳
Even those with little learning must approach their copybook practice as if facing an enemy. Practice martial arts with the brush, and strive to acquire present territories to fill one's storehouse. [This line may be a copying error] One should hold these lands. Therefore, one should invigorate one's strength with each character written.
