苦ヲ救テ起臥ヲ安シ法ヲ傳ヘテ現安後樂ノ願
望ヲ成就ス藥園ヲ給テ藥種ヲ植其備ヲ成ンヿ
ヲ願フ信長許諾シテ山城近國ノ内其地ヲ選フ
ヘシト有ケレハ兩イルマン江州伊吹山ヲ願ヒ
得此山ニ登テ五十町四方切開キ藥園トシテ本
國ヨリ三千種ノ藥草ノ苗種ヲ取來シム伊吹山
ニコレヲ植《割書：此故ニ今二百年ノ後迄モ其根此山｜ニ止テ川芎艾ノ類此山ヲ以テ名產》

琉璃の宝珠、香一包、犬皮十枚、瑪瑙の机一脚、虎皮十枚、五色羅紗五十枚を献上す。程なくして南蛮寺へ帰り、重ねて信長へ訴え達して曰く「天帝宗は広く病難・貧苦を救って起臥を安んじ、法を伝えて現世安楽・来世の楽しみの願望を成就す。薬園を給わって薬種を植え、その備えを成すことを願う」と。信長許諾して「山城近国の内、その地を選ぶべし」とあったので、両イルマンは近江国伊吹山を願い得た。この山に登って五十町四方を切り開き薬園として、本国より三千種の薬草の苗・種を取り寄せ、伊吹山にこれを植えた。《この故に今二百年の後までもその根がこの山に止まって、川芎・艾の類はこの山を以て名産とす》

They presented lapis lazuli jewels, one package of incense, ten dog skins, one agate desk, ten tiger skins, and fifty pieces of five-colored woolen cloth. Before long they returned to the Southern Barbarian temple and again petitioned Nobunaga, saying: "The religion of the Heavenly Emperor broadly rescues people from illness, hardship, and poverty, bringing peace to their daily lives, and transmits the law to fulfill desires for present comfort and future happiness. We request that you grant us a medicinal garden where we may plant medicinal herbs and establish these preparations." Nobunaga consented, saying "You should select a suitable location within Yamashiro Province or neighboring provinces." The two Irmãos requested and obtained Mount Ibuki in Ōmi Province. They climbed this mountain, cleared fifty chō square, made it into a medicinal garden, and had seeds and seedlings of three thousand varieties of medicinal herbs brought from their home country to plant on Mount Ibuki. <<For this reason, even now two hundred years later, their roots remain on this mountain, and varieties such as Ligusticum wallichii and mugwort have become specialties of this mountain>>
