深ク盗賊惡黨ヲナシ或ハ難病等ノ患ニ沈テ未
來善所ノ願モ不叶サレハ貧ナル時ハ邪起ル邪
起ル故ニ難病又身ヲ責ムサレハ今生ノ病ハ我
等ノ療養ヲ以テ治スルトモ未來ノ難病ハ治スル
ヿ能ハス身ノ不淨ハ洗ヘトモ心ノ不淨ハ大海ノ
潮ニモ曬ツキス然ルニ今世ニ邪ナル事ヲナサ
スト雖トモ惡病貧苦ニ責ラル〱者ハ前生ノ惡業
ノ然ラシムル所ナリ然レハ其前生ヲ果サ〱ル
寸ハ永刧ノ罪遁ル〱ヿ能ハス各心ヲ淸淨ニシテ
未來ノ惡緣遁ル〱ヤ遁レサルヤ此鏡ヲ拜セラ
現代語訳
深く盗賊悪党をなし、或いは難病等の患いに沈んで、未来善所の願いも叶えられない。貧しい時には邪心が起こる。邪心が起こるがゆえに難病がまた身を責める。されば今生の病は我等の療養をもって治すとしても、未来の難病は治すことができない。身の不浄は洗えども、心の不浄は大海の潮にも晒しつくせない。しかるに今世に邪なることをなさないとはいえ、悪病貧苦に責められる者は、前生の悪業のそうさせるところである。然れば、その前生を果たさない限りは永劫の罪を逃れることができない。各々心を清浄にして、未来の悪縁を逃れるか逃れないか、この鏡を拝せよ。
英語訳
They deeply engage in banditry and evil deeds, or sink into afflictions such as incurable diseases, and their wishes for future good destinations cannot be fulfilled. When one is poor, evil thoughts arise. Because evil thoughts arise, incurable diseases again torment the body. Therefore, while the illnesses of this life can be cured through our medical treatment, the incurable diseases of future lives cannot be healed. Though the impurity of the body can be washed away, the impurity of the heart cannot be cleansed even by the tides of the great ocean. However, even those who do no evil in this world but are tormented by disease and poverty are experiencing the results of evil karma from previous lives. Therefore, unless that previous karma is exhausted, one cannot escape from eternal sin. Each person should purify their heart—whether you can escape future evil connections or not, worship this mirror!"
