襟巻甚タ尋常ノ僧ノ風體ニ異ナリ殊ニ内佛等
ヲモ尋ネス必ス新宗南蠻寺ノ僧ナルヘシトソ
推シ語リケル四五日ヲ歴テ後チ侍一人中門ニ
挾筥ヲ持セ南蠻寺同宿梅庵使ノ者ナリト案内
シ來ル伽羅一斤緞子五巻縮緬五卷臺ニ積載セ
一宿ノ禮謝ヲ述テ贈來リヌ母甚タ驚キ過分ノ
賜物甚難儀之由段々辭退ニ及ヒケレトモ使ノ者
差置歸リヌ其後モ或ハ絽又ハ糸類等折ニフレ
時ニシタカヒ音物シテ無余儀因置ヌ遙ニ程過
テ後雨天ノ夕暮又堺ヲリ歸ト僞リ此老母ノ宿

襟巻きなど、甚だ尋常の僧の風体とは異なり、殊に内仏等も尋ねず、必ず新宗南蛮寺の僧であろう」と推測して語った。四、五日を経た後、侍一人が中門に挟箱を持たせ「南蛮寺同宿梅庵の使いの者なり」と案内してきた。伽羅一斤、緞子五巻、縮緬五巻を台に積載し、一宿の礼謝を述べて贈ってきた。母は甚だ驚き、過分の賜物で甚だ困ると、段々と辞退に及んだけれども、使いの者は品物を置いて帰ってしまった。その後も或いは絽、また糸類等、折に触れ時に従い音物として、やむを得ず受け置いた。遥かに時が過ぎた後、雨天の夕暮れ、また堺から帰ると偽り、この老母の宿に
