頃ハ人王百七代正親町院ノ御宇織田信長從尾
州發起シテ齊藤ヲ伐テ濃州ヲ奪ヒ佐々木ヲ追テ
近江ヲ取リ將軍義昭公ヲ保護シテ京都ヘ還住ナ
シ奉リ南參ノ 德川家ヲ合從シ北越ノ朝倉江
北ノ淺井ヲ亡シ武威中國ヲ呑ントシ高名西國
ニ轟ク此時九州肥前ノ領主龍造寺高重ノ領分
長崎ノ津ニ南蠻船一艘著岸セリ此船ニ異相ノ

その頃は人皇百七代正親町天皇の御代で、織田信長が尾張国から兵を起こして斎藤氏を討伐し美濃国を奪い、佐々木氏を追放して近江国を取り、将軍足利義昭公を保護して京都へ帰還させ奉った。南方では徳川家と同盟を結び、北陸の朝倉氏と江北の浅井氏を滅ぼし、武威をもって中国地方を呑み込もうとし、その高名は西国に轟いていた。この時、九州肥前国の領主龍造寺隆信の領分である長崎の港に南蛮船一隻が着岸した。この船に異様な容貌の者が一人乗り込んできた。その人は身長九尺余り、胴体に比べて頭が小さく、顔は赤く、眼は丸くて鼻が高く、横を見る時は肩をすり、口は大きい。
