度と申がごとし其上 娑婆（しやば）の評判（ひやうばん）を余所（よそ）なが
ら菊之丞が絶色（せつしよく）なる事兼てよりかくれなけれ
はせめて此世の思ひ出に絵姿（ゑすがた）なりとも見まほし《割書：シ｜》
此義は何とぞ御免を蒙たしと願へば閻王は不
機嫌にて蓼（たで）喰ふ虫も好（すき）〳〵とは其方が事なり
然れどもたつての願もだしがたし絵図を
見る事は勝手次第たるべししかしおれは若
衆を見るは嫌（きらい）なれば絵の有内は目を閉（とち）て見ま
じき程に早とく〳〵と御目を閉させ給へば彼
罪人が持たりし姿絵を柱に掛けるに清（きよき）如（ことは）＿三
春柳含（しゆんりうの）＿二初月艶似（しよけつをふくむがことくゑんなることは）＿三桃花帯（とうくわの）＿二曉煙（きゆうゑんをおぶるににたり）その姿（すかた）の
あてやかなる事ゑもいはれざれは人々は目もは
なさずはつと感（かん）じて暫（しはらく）は鳴（なり）もやまず誠（まこと）や
婆婆にてうつくしきものは天人の天降（あまくたり）たるといへ
どもそれは畢竟（ひつきやう）遠が花の香（か）なり此国の極楽
にては几巾（たこ）を登す同然（どうぜん）に常（つね）に見る天人なれ
ば美（うつく）しいとも思はす路考とくらべて見る時は
閻魔王の冠と餓鬼（がき）のふんどし程の違ひあり
聞しにまさる路考が姿（すがた）古今 無双（ぶそう）の器量（きりやう）
かなと十王を始として見る目は目玉（めたま）を光らし

度と申すがごとし。その上、娑婆の評判をよそながら、菊之丞が絶色なることは兼てより隠れなければ、せめてこの世の思い出に絵姿なりとも見たいものだ。この義は何とぞ御免を蒙りたい」と願えば、閻王は不機嫌にて「蓼食う虫も好き好きとはその方のことなり。然れどもたっての願いも断し難し。絵図を見ることは勝手次第たるべし。しかし俺は若衆を見るのは嫌いなれば、絵のある内は目を閉じて見まじきほどに、早々と御目を閉ざし給え」と言うので、かの罪人が持っていた姿絵を柱に掛けるに、清きことは春柳の初月を含むがごとく、艶なることは桃花の暁煙を帯びるに似たり。その姿のあてやかなることえも言われざれば、人々は目も離さずはっと感じて、しばらくは鳴りもやまず。
誠や、娑婆にて美しきものは天人の天降りたると言えども、それは畢竟遠が花の香なり。この国の極楽にては凡人を登すと同然に、常に見る天人なれば美しいとも思わず。路考と比べて見る時は、閻魔王の冠と餓鬼の褌ほどの違いあり。聞くにまさる路考が姿、古今無双の器量かなと、十王を始めとして見る目は目玉を光らし
