余読＿二￣ムヤ斯￣ノ篇＿一￣ヲ也不＿レ覚撃＿レ￣テ節￣ヲ驚-呼￣シテ曰￣ク
咄人￣カ邪鬼￣カ邪無＿二能￣ク名＿一￣クルヿ焉蓋￣シ可＿レ￣クシテ測￣ル
而測￣リ可＿レ￣クシテ言￣フ而言￣フ旦＿二暮￣ニシ万-古＿一￣ヲ咫＿二-尺￣スルモ
六-合＿一￣ヲ世有＿二￣テ若￣ノコトキ人＿一而￣シテ為＿二￣ス若￣コトキ事＿一￣ヲ亦曷￣ソ
異＿レ￣ン之￣ヲ若￣シ乃￣チ冥-途潜-府￣ハ幽-昩浩-渺￣タリ

不＿レ能＿二窺測＿一￣ルヿ也而￣シテ斯￣ノ篇能￣ク測＿二￣リ其￣ノ不＿一￣ルヲ
現代語訳
根南志具佐序
私がこの篇を読んでみると、思わず膝を打って驚き叫んで言うことには、
「ああ、これは人なのか鬼なのか、よく名付けようがないことよ。」
確かに測ることができるものを測り、言うことができるものを言う。
朝に夕に万古の時を、咫尺の間に六合の空間を縮める。
世にこのような人がいて、このような事を成すとは、なんと異なることであろうか。
さて、冥途や地府は幽暗で広大である。
瞿曇氏（釈迦）についてはひとまず措くとして、その他に明者がいたとしても、
窺い測ることはできないものである。
しかし、この篇はよくその測り難いものを測っており、

Preface to Konnanshigusa
When I read this work, I could not help but strike my knee in amazement and cry out:
"Ah, is this a human or a demon? There is no way to properly name such a thing!"
Indeed, it measures what can be measured and speaks of what can be spoken.
From morning to evening, it compresses ten thousand ages, and reduces the six directions of space to the span of a hand.
That there exists such a person in this world who accomplishes such deeds - how extraordinary this is!
Now, the netherworld and underground realms are dark and vast.
Setting aside Gautama (the Buddha) for the moment, even if there were other enlightened ones,
they would not be able to fathom and measure such things.
Yet this work is able to measure what cannot be measured,
