一、この伊沢孫八と申す人とその家族一同の宗旨は、代々禅宗曹洞宗であり、当寺の檀家に間違いございません。もし他から（この者が）キリシタン宗門であるという訴えをする者がおりましたら、私（住職）はどこまでも出向いて必ず申し上げます。後日のため宗旨証文を差し上げます。以上の通りです。

Religious Sect Certificate Matter
One: Regarding this person called Izawa Magohachi and his entire household, their religious sect has been Zen Sōtō sect for generations, and they are without doubt parishioners of our temple. Should there be anyone who accuses them from elsewhere of belonging to the Christian sect, I (the priest) will go anywhere and definitely report this matter. I hereby provide this religious sect certificate for future reference.
