【巻上三十四丁裏】
法に八十五匁に四十四をかくれは三七四になる
これを相場（さうは）五百目にてわれは金としるへし
┃金三百拾七匁七分五りあるを判（はん）金とかへる時に
内九拾六匁九分は 判一枚（まい）に付卅八匁かへ也
内百卅八匁六分は 同壱枚に付 四拾二匁替（かへ）也
内八拾二匁二分五りは同壱枚に付四拾七匁替也
右の二いろに判金なにほとそととうときに
○判金七枚六両になるといふ
法に九拾六匁九分を三十八匁にてわれは二枚
五両半に成○又百卅八匁六分を四拾弐匁にて

法に二両一分と右にをき一分を四にてわれは
二両二五に成是に小判の相場（さうは）六十めをかくれは
右の小判に銀七拾五匁としるへし
現代語訳
計算法では、八十五匁に四十四を掛ければ三千七百四十になる。これを相場五百目で割れば金と知るべし。
金三百十七匁七分五厘があるのを判金と交換する時に
内九十六匁九分は 判金一枚につき三十八匁の交換である
内百三十八匁六分は 同一枚につき四十二匁の交換である
内八十二匁二分五厘は同一枚につき四十七匁の交換である
右の三種類で判金がどれほどになるかと問う時に
○判金七枚六両になるという
計算法では、九十六匁九分を三十八匁で割れば二枚五両半になる○また百三十八匁六分を四十二匁で割る時三枚三両になる○また八十二匁二分五厘を四十七匁で割る時一枚七両半になる
三口合計で七枚六両と知るべし
小判二両一分がある時に、小判一枚につき銀六十匁交換の相場にしては、右の小判に銀がどれほどになるかと問う時に
○銀七十五匁になるという
計算法では、二両一分と右に置き、一分を四で割れば二両二十五（二両二分五厘）になる。これに小判の相場六十匁を掛ければ、右の小判に銀七十五匁と知るべし。

When exchanging 317 monme 7 bu 5 rin of gold for koban:
- 96 monme 9 bu at an exchange of 38 monme per 1 koban
- 138 monme 6 bu at an exchange of 42 monme per 1 koban
- 82 monme 2 bu 5 rin at an exchange of 47 monme per 1 koban
When asked how many koban these three types amount to:
○It becomes 7 koban 6 ryō
In the calculation method: divide 96 monme 9 bu by 38 monme to get 2 koban 5 ryō and a half ○ Also, when dividing 138 monme 6 bu by 42 monme, it becomes 3 koban 3 ryō ○ Also, when dividing 82 monme 2 bu 5 rin by 47 monme, it becomes 1 koban 7 ryō and a half.
The total of the three amounts should be known as 7 koban 6 ryō.
When there are 2 ryō 1 bu of koban, and the exchange rate is 60 monme of silver per 1 koban, when asked how much silver the koban becomes:
○It becomes 75 monme of silver
In the calculation method: place 2 ryō 1 bu as written above, divide 1 bu by 4 to get 2 ryō 25 (2 ryō 2 bu 5 rin). Multiply this by the koban exchange rate of 60 monme, and you should know the koban becomes 75 monme of silver.
