【巻上三十八丁裏】
右に百五十五匁と右に置左に二はり五分と
置て十を加へる時十二五と成 これにて右の
銀百五拾五匁をわれは本銀としるへし
┃本銀三百五拾目有 一ヶ月に二文子といふ
時は本銀百目に付二匁つゝのことなり 右の銀に
二文子にして十二月分の本利合何ほとそと問
○本利銀四百卅四匁に成といふ
法に右の三百五拾目に弐匁をかくれは七匁に
なる 七匁に十二ヶ月をかくれは八拾四匁になる
是へ三百五拾目くわへて四百卅四匁としるる也

○一ヶ月に二文子にして十二月の間本利共に
銀合四百卅四匁有 右の本銀なにほとそと問時
○本銀三百五十めなりといふ

右に百五十五匁と置き、左に二割五分と置いて、十を加える時、十二五となる。これで右の銀百五十五匁を割れば元金と知るべし。
一 元金三百五十匁がある。一ヶ月に二文子というのは、元金百匁につき二匁ずつのことである。右の銀を二文子として十二ヶ月分の元利合計はいくらかと問う時
○元利銀四百三十四匁になるという
計算法では、右の三百五十匁に二匁を掛けると七匁になる。七匁に十二ヶ月を掛けると八十四匁になる。これに三百五十匁を加えて四百三十四匁と知る。
○一ヶ月に二文子として十二ヶ月の間、元利合計で銀四百三十四匁がある。右の元金はいくらかと問う時

計算法では、右に四百三十四匁と置き、左に二匁ずつ十二ヶ月を掛けると二十四匁になる。これに百匁を加える時、百二十四匁になる。これで右の四百三十四匁を割ると、元金三百五十匁と知るべし。
一 米の元が三百四十五石ある時、この利息が二割六分として、元利ともに米はいくらかと問う時

1. There is a principal of 350 monme. "2 monme-ko per month" means 2 monme for every 100 monme of principal. When asked what the total principal and interest amounts to over 12 months at this rate of 2 monme-ko:
○The principal and interest becomes 434 monme of silver.
In the calculation method: multiply the 350 monme by 2 monme, giving 7 monme. Multiply 7 monme by 12 months, giving 84 monme. Add 350 monme to this, and one shall know it is 434 monme.
○At the rate of 2 monme-ko per month, over 12 months, there is a combined total of 434 monme in principal and interest. When asked what the original principal is:
○The principal is 350 monme.
In the calculation method: place 434 monme on the right; multiply 2 monme per month by 12 months on the left to get 24 monme. When 100 monme is added to this, it becomes 124 monme. Dividing the right-side 434 monme by this, one shall know the principal is 350 monme.
1. When there are 345 koku of rice as principal, and the interest rate is 2 wari 6 bu, when asked how much rice the total principal and interest comes to:
○It becomes 434 koku 7 to of rice.
