【巻上四十七丁裏】
本米はかりはなにほとそと問（とう）とき
○弐百卅三石六斗四升四合八勺六才といふ
法に二百五十石と右にをきこれを百七石にて
われは本米二百卅三石六斗四升四合八勺六才
としるへし
┃米かいにいつかたへ成共下時銀拾壱貫弐百目有
又よしんことつかり銀六貫八百目くたす時に
銀二口合拾八貫目あり
米のさうば拾石に付弐百四拾弐匁なり
運ちんは米拾石に付八匁つゝなり

米かひ申候間のつかい九拾め入也
右の拾八貫目にてうんちんつかいをはらふて
米なにほとつゝにととふ時に
○米七百拾六石四斗つゝといふ
法にさうば弐百四拾二匁にうんちん八匁を
くわへる時に弐百五拾目になる これをひたりに
おきて又右に拾八貫目と置（おき）て此うち九拾目
遺を引残て拾七貫九百拾匁に成 これを左の
弐百五拾目にて右をわれは七百拾六石四斗と
しるへし
現代語訳
本米（もとごめ）だけはどれほどかと問う時は
○二百三十三石六斗四升四合八勺六才という
計算方法：二百五十石を右に置き、これを百七石で
割ると、本米二百三十三石六斗四升四合八勺六才と
知るべし。
┃米を買うために、いずれの方向へも下る時、銀十一貫二百目あり、
また予備（よしん）として別途借りた銀六貫八百目を下す時に、
銀二口合わせて十八貫目あり。
米の相場は十石につき二百四十二匁である。
運賃は米十石につき八匁ずつである。

米買い申す間の遣い（つかい）九十匁が入る。
右の十八貫目にて運賃・遣いを払って、
米はどれほどずつ（得られる）かと問う時は
○米七百十六石四斗ずつという
計算方法：相場二百四十二匁に運賃八匁を
加える時に二百五十目になる。これを左に
置いて、また右に十八貫目と置いて、この内九十目
の遣いを引き、残って十七貫九百十匁になる。これを左の
二百五十目で右を割ると七百十六石四斗と
知るべし。
英語訳

Calculation method: Place 250 koku on the right, and divide this by 107 koku
to find the base rice is 233 koku 6 to 4 shō 4 gō 8 shaku 6 sai,
as should be known.
┃When going anywhere to purchase rice, there is 11 kan 200 monme of silver on hand,
and additionally 6 kan 800 monme of borrowed silver is sent down,
making a combined total of 18 kan monme of silver from two sources.
The market price of rice is 242 monme per 10 koku.
The transportation fee is 8 monme per 10 koku of rice.

The incidental expenses during the rice-buying trip amount to 90 monme.
When paying transportation fees and expenses from the said 18 kan monme,
if asked how much rice can be obtained:
○The answer is 716 koku 4 to of rice.
Calculation method: Add the transportation fee of 8 monme to the market price of 242 monme
to get 250 monme. Place this on the left.
Then place 18 kan monme on the right, subtract 90 monme
in travel expenses, leaving 17 kan 910 monme. Divide the right by the
left figure of 250 monme to find 716 koku 4 to,
as should be known.
