現代語訳
銀三枚、長光寺へ同じく二枚を褒美として
下し置かれ、その余の者たちも一同に賞を伺い
いたしたく存じます。そうであれば右記を承り伝え
追々優れた行いをする者たちも現れることでしょうと
存じております。もっとも申し上げた通り
仰せ出されれば一同私どもの方へ呼び出して相達申すべく候
これにより別紙の風聞聞書を添えてこの段申し上げ候

three pieces of silver, and to Chokoji Temple likewise two pieces as reward
be granted, and we would like to request commendations for all the remaining people as well.
If this were the case, having received word of the above,
we believe that people who perform meritorious deeds will continue to appear.
Of course, as we have stated,
if ordered, we shall summon all of them to our place and convey the message.
Therefore, we attach a separate document of hearsay records and report this matter.
