右寺檀下変死人葬式料不受葬遣其上前書
之通檀下え手当等差出且平日寺務堅固僧
侶之致方如法其外奇特之事共入
御聴当十月十四日寺社 御奉行太田摂津守様
御役所ニ而為御褒美銀弐枚被下置候

右寺院は檀下の変死人の葬式料を受け取らずに葬儀を行い、その上前書きの通り檀下へ手当てなどを差し出し、かつ平日の寺務も堅固で僧侶の行いも如法であり、その他奇特なことども御聴に入り、当十月十四日寺社御奉行太田摂津守様の御役所にて御褒美として銀二枚を下し置かれ候

The aforementioned temple conducted funeral services for parishioners who died unnaturally without accepting funeral fees, and moreover, as written above, provided financial assistance to parishioners. Additionally, their daily temple duties were conducted diligently and the monks' behavior was proper. These and other meritorious deeds came to official attention, and on the 14th day of the 10th month, at the office of Ōta Settsu-no-kami, the magistrate of temples and shrines, two pieces of silver were bestowed as a reward.
