放以下之分御先柄又は可伺品之外ハ
向後伺ニ不及御仕置可被申付候尤武家

現代語訳

放免以下の分は、御先例または伺うべき品以外は、今後は伺いに及ばず御仕置を申し付けることができる候。もっとも武家屋敷内において博奕を致し候一件並びに尋書は、取り調べ差し出さず候とも、その主人不念の趣等相聞こえ候分、或いは品替入組候一件に引き合い候類は、これまでの通り心得べく候事。
　ただし足軽以下、伺いに及ばず御仕置申し付け候分は、当日翌日の内に届書差し出し候様致すべく候事。

英語訳

For cases involving hōmen (released criminals) and below, except for matters requiring precedent consultation or items that must be reported, henceforth punishment may be administered without the need for prior inquiry. However, regarding cases of gambling within samurai residences and interrogation documents, even if investigations are not submitted, when the master's negligence is evident, or when cases involve changes in status or complex circumstances that require comparison with other cases, the previous procedures should be followed as before.
　Note: For cases involving ashigaru (foot soldiers) and below where punishment is administered without prior inquiry, notification documents must be submitted within the day or the following day.
