都而手限吟味もの之内武家之家来
引合等ニ而呼出不念之始末有之
強而伺候程之儀ニも無之節急度
叱り叱り置候位之御咎は伺ニ不及
申渡候而も苦ケ間敷哉之事

押切書付紛失致し不尋出武家
之家来不及御伺於評定所ニ
下ケ札 急度叱り相成候間急度叱り迄ハ
及御伺ニ申間敷と奉存候

牧野大隅守
すべて手限り吟味の者のうち、武家の家来で引き合いなどにて呼び出し、不注意な始末があり、強いて伺い候ほどの儀にも無き節は、厳しく叱り置く位の御咎は伺いに及ばず、申し渡し候ても差し支えないであろうかの事

Regarding all matters handled at one's own discretion: when retainers of samurai houses are summoned for questioning or confrontation and show carelessness in their conduct, but the matter is not serious enough to require formal inquiry, may severe reprimands be administered without the need for official inquiry?

of samurai houses, official inquiry is not required. At the Council of
Notation State, it was decided that severe reprimands are appropriate,
therefore up to severe reprimands should not require official inquiry.
