現代語訳
右は安永二年巳年五月二十九日、評定所臨時寄合にて土屋能登守宅へ持参し、留役組頭江坂孫三郎へ相渡し評議いたし申し聞かせ候様申し達し候ところ、書面の通り付札いたし差し越し候故、この書面を同六月二日同役甲斐守へ相渡し申し聞かせ候様申し達し候ところ、同三日存じ寄り無く書面の通り相心得、武家の家来厳しく叱るまでは両番所共に伺いに及ばず申し渡し候積もり相極まる。
英語訳
The above matter: on the 29th day of the 5th month of Anei 2 (1773), Year of the Snake, this was brought to the residence of Tsuchiya Noto-no-kami at an extraordinary council meeting of the Hyōjōsho (Council of State). It was handed over to stay-behind officer and group head Esaka Magosaburō for deliberation and notification. As written in the document, a notation was attached and forwarded. Therefore, this document was handed over to fellow officer Kai-no-kami on the 2nd day of the same 6th month for notification. On the 3rd day of the same month, having no particular objections and understanding the document as written, it was definitively decided that for retainers of samurai houses, up to severe reprimands could be administered by both guard offices without requiring formal inquiry.
