一 柴井町月行事房吉が申し上げるには、当月二日夜の地震により居宅・土蔵が残らず震災で倒壊し、また出火により難儀している者へ、松平陸奥守様より町内西側百三十七間へ玄米百俵、ほかに御出入りの者二人へ金百疋ずつを下し置かれ候旨を御訴え申し上げ候由。
右の房吉の五人組平八、名主八郎右衛門より申し来る。

10th month, 14th day, Year of the Rabbit
1. Shibaichō monthly administrator Bōkichi reports that due to the earthquake on the night of the 2nd of this month, when residences and storehouses were completely collapsed by the tremors and people suffered hardships from fires, Lord Matsudaira Mutsu-no-kami bestowed 100 hyō of unpolished rice to the 137-ken section on the west side of the town district, and additionally gave 100 hiki of money each to two of his retainers. This is reported as a petition.
