卯十月二十七日
一、池之端七軒町外六ヶ町月行事総代吉五郎が申し上げ候、去る二日の地震にて町々が倒壊し困窮に及び候につき、松平大蔵大輔様より施行として同町並びに同所横町外五ヶ寺門前へ玄米三十石五斗五升差し置かれ、有難く存じ奉り候。この段御届けのため申し上げ候由、右吉五郎名主

10th month, 27th day, Year of the Rabbit
1. Yoshigorō, the general representative of the monthly administrators of Ikenohata Shichiken-chō and six other districts, reported: Due to the earthquake on the 2nd day of this month, the various districts suffered building collapses and great hardship. In response, Lord Matsudaira Ōkura-no-taifu bestowed 30 koku, 5 to, and 5 shō of unpolished rice as charitable relief to the said district, as well as to Yokochō of the same area and the temple precincts of five other temples. We are deeply grateful for this benevolence. The aforementioned Yoshigorō, headman, reports this matter for official record.
