現代語訳
《割書：長く重宝するには、すがいの藁はよく打ち柔らげて束ねるべし。長五尺。○棚一枚に二本ずつ納め置き、毎年用いる》
《割書：この形に鼓のごとく、薦の横手に使い、差し渡し竹の枕となる。棚一枚に二つずつ、これも毎年用いる》
《割書：長三尺》 《割書：弓の形なりの桑手、棚一枚へ五六本ずつ使う。これは前の年の桑の枝なり。禁物にする物なり。よく枯れて軽きがよし。これまた毎年使うなり》
《割書：薦長六尺、巻き藁長五尺》

立てまぶしの事
○藁の立てまぶしと云うあり。これを用いるにはまず、下座敷又は物置、二階などにも畳あらば取り、上げ板の間にして筵を敷き、その上にささら薦を敷く。その上に四度起きしたる蚕をその間一面に取り広げ、外回りを回り回り桑を投げ

The above method is used for quick accommodation when hanging spinning frames on platforms or when hanging over areas with bedding.
Regarding Standing Spinning Frames
○ There is what is called straw standing spinning frames. To use these, first remove tatami mats from lower rooms, storage rooms, or second floors if they have them, creating a raised wooden floor space. Spread reed mats on this, then lay bamboo mats on top. Spread the fourth-molted silkworms across this entire area, and throw mulberry leaves around the perimeter
