　一　享和二戌年八月学向不怠精出年
　　　齢ゟ手際宜相聞候ニ付為御褒美左伝
　　　被下置之旨被　仰出候事

　一　文化元子年二月親願之通初而之
　　　御目見被　仰付候事

　一　同五辰年七月猪苗代学館誦師被　仰付候事

　一　同年八月家督御知行弐百石無御
　　　相違被下置外様組付被　仰付日向
　　　三郎右衛門組ニ入　御城御番相勤候事

　一　同年十月御小性被　仰付候事

　一　同月是迄猪苗代学館誦師被

　　　仰付置候処此方へ引越候ニ付而は右勤ニ不及候
　　　段被　仰出候

　　　殿様　御城御仕立所御住居之節
　　　御同人様御用をも精出相勤候ニ付
　　　御同人様ゟ綿壱把鼻紙弐束被下置
　　　之旨御用人を以被　仰出候

一　享和二戌年八月　学問に怠らず精出し、年齢からして手際よく相聞こえるにつき、御褒美として左伝を下し置かれる旨仰せ出された事

一　文化元子年二月　親の願いの通り初めての御目見を仰せ付けられた事

一　同五辰年七月　猪苗代学館誦師を仰せ付けられた事

一　同年八月　家督御知行二百石相違なく下し置かれ、外様組付を仰せ付けられ日向三郎右衛門組に入り、御城御番を勤めた事

一　同年十月　御小性を仰せ付けられた事

一　同月　これまで猪苗代学館誦師を仰せ付け置かれたところ、こちらへ引越すにつきその勤めに及ばない段を仰せ出された

一　同年十二月　殿様が御城御仕立所御住居の節、御同人様の御用をも精出し勤めるにつき、御同人様より綿一把鼻紙二束を下し置かれる旨を御用人を以て仰せ出された
　　ただしこの後も右同断につき同断拝領した事

一　同六巳年五月　御召下の御品御溜まりがあるにつき、思召を以て御召古麻御上下一具縞御

英語訳

- In the 2nd year of Kyōwa (1802, Year of the Dog), 8th month: As he did not neglect his studies and worked diligently, and his skills were recognized as excellent for his age, he was granted a copy of the Saiden (Zuo Zhuan) as a reward.

- In the 1st year of Bunka (1804, Year of the Rat), 2nd month: As requested by his father, he was granted his first formal audience with the lord.

- In the 5th year of Bunka (1808, Year of the Dragon), 7th month: He was appointed as a recitation teacher at Inawashiro Academy.

- In the same year, 8th month: He inherited the family stipend of 200 koku without reduction, was appointed to the gaiyo-gumi (external group), joined Hyūga Saburōemon's unit, and served castle guard duty.

- In the same year, 10th month: He was appointed as a page (okoshō).

- In the same month: Although he had been appointed as a recitation teacher at Inawashiro Academy, since he moved here, it was announced that he need not continue that duty.

- In the same year, 12th month: When the lord resided at the castle workshop quarters, as he diligently served the lord's needs, the lord granted him one bundle of cotton and two bundles of tissue paper through a retainer.
Note: He continued to receive the same rewards for the same service thereafter.

- In the 6th year of Bunka (1809, Year of the Snake), 5th month: As there was an accumulation of used clothing items, by the lord's gracious consideration, he received one set of used hemp formal wear with stripes...
