罷下同十月罷登候
但右ニ付
寿鳳院様ゟ御扇子御包物拝領被 仰付候
此後為御供罷下候毎度幷御上京之
節其外毎年正月於江戸表御扇子
御包物拝領被 仰付候事
一 同年五月
御幼年様之御時節御成育筋一同志を
立精出相勤御人少之上不寝をも相勤
彼是致辛労候ニ付為御褒美生絹
壱疋被下置之旨被 仰出候事
一 同月御書物御復等之節御相手之儀
先達而申聞置候趣も有之候処以来は
上田伝次樋口平蔵共ニ病気差合等有
之御相手ニ不罷出節計御読書御復
之御相手致候様被 仰出候事
一 同月御人少ニ而平日繫多之処精出相
勤候ニ付御内々御酒被下置之旨御用人
を以被 仰出候事

下り、同十月に登った
但し右につき
寿鳳院様より御扇子・御包物を拝領するよう仰せ付けられた
この後お供として下る度毎、並びに御上京の
節その他毎年正月に江戸表において御扇子・
御包物を拝領するよう仰せ付けられた事
一 同年五月
御幼年様の御時節、御成育筋に一同志を
立て精を出して相務め、御人少の上不寝をも相務め
あれこれと辛労したにつき、御褒美として生絹
一疋を下し置かれる旨を仰せ出された事
一 同月 御書物の御復習等の節の御相手の件は
先達て申し聞かせ置いた趣もあったところ、以来は
上田伝次・樋口平蔵共に病気・差し合い等が
あって御相手に出仕しない節のみ、御読書・御復習
の御相手を致すよう仰せ出された事
一 同月 御人少であって平日繁忙なところ、精を出して相
務めたにつき、御内々に御酒を下し置かれる旨を御用人
を通じて仰せ出された事
一 同十酉年五月 この度

During the period of His Young Lordship, everyone united in purpose
to work diligently in matters of his upbringing, and due to staff shortages,
he even worked overnight shifts and endured various hardships, so as a reward
he was granted one piece of raw silk, as announced
- In the same month: Regarding serving as a study partner during book reviews and such,
although there had been previous instructions as mentioned before, from now on
only when both Ueda Denji and Higuchi Heizō were unable to attend
due to illness or other conflicts should he serve as a study partner
for reading and review sessions, as ordered
- In the same month: Since he worked diligently despite being understaffed
and busy on regular days, he was privately granted sake,
as announced through a retainer
