子橋（この時橋本諏訪・片岡等の社で一揖）並びに玉橋等を経て桜門に入る。この時北の軒下において左右階下が会釈し、乗尻も同前に行う。済んで右方の者は西の廻廊に留まる。
（兼ねて仮に円座を設け、小預がこれを役とする。東上北面。並びに白幕等を引き回す。初めに乗中を沙汰する）
次に左方階下・乗尻等は御局軒下の座に着く。
その儀式は、楼門軒下において左右会釈を済ませて参進し、まず棚尾社で一揖する。中門に入り、権殿で一揖し、次に本宮正中を経過して蹲踞し、次に土師尾社で一揖して御局軒下の座に着く（東上北面。ただし階下は乗尻と一間ほど引き離れて西から第六柱の程に着座）。
（まず沓揖。この時右の膝を突いて左廻りして着座。揖・安座・執裾。この時笏を左手に迂し、右の袖を押え、それを操り、並びに平緒を刷う）

その儀式は、まず九番乗尻が奉幣を済ませた時分に階下が起座する（まず座揖、右の膝を起こして右廻りして起座、沓揖）。左廻りして土師尾社と御局の間において剱を解く（召具に持たせる）。右廻りして御局東第四柱の辺まで進み出て西面し猶予する。次に十番乗尻が奉幣を済ませて幣を捧げ持ち、階下の前に進む（取直）。これを授ける。この時笏を挿む（ただしある時は懐にする）。請け捧げて屏中門から入り、小庭立砂の正中に進んで再拝両段、祝詞を申す（口伝により沓を着けたまま尻居。もっとも拍手には及ばない）。済んで経て

Next, the kaika officials hold up the offerings, enter through the screen middle gate, advance to the small courtyard, and recite the ritual prayers to completion.
The ceremony: First, when the ninth jōjiri completes the offering presentation, the kaika officials rise (first seated bow, raise the right knee, turn right and rise, shoe courtesy). They turn left and remove their swords between Haji-no-o Shrine and the Imperial Office (having attendants hold them).
