現代語訳
曽根源左衛門様・柴田七左衛門様が当地から江戸へお帰りになる際、勢至堂まで見送るよう仰せ付けられた事。
一、貞享二丑年十一月、願いの通り息子の図書が御番代を仰せ付けられた事。
一、元禄元辰年九月、頭の堀半右衛門が隠居したため、跡役として神保茂左衛門組に所属することになった事。
一、同四未年十二月、願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられた事。
一、宝永二酉年八月九日、八十五歳で病死。法名は浄泉院心庵月清居士、葬所は同上。

When Sone Genzaemon-sama and Shibata Shichisaemon-sama returned from this locality to Edo, he was ordered to escort them as far as Seishi-dō.
Item: In the eleventh month of Jōkyō 2, Ox year, as requested, his son Tosho was appointed as substitute guard.
Item: In the ninth month of Genroku 1, Dragon year, when the head Hori Hanemon retired, he was transferred to Jinbo Mozaemon's unit as successor to the role.
Item: In the twelfth month of the fourth year, Sheep, he was granted retirement as requested.
Item: On the ninth day of the eighth month of Hōei 2, Rooster year, he died of illness at age eighty-five. His posthumous name was Jōsen-in Shin'an Gesshin Koji, burial place same as above.
