一同八寅年正月又左衛門と改名

一、寛延三亥年閏四月、親の願いの通り初めて御目見を仰せ付けられた事
一、宝暦七丑年四月、親の願いの通り御番代を仰せ付けられ、高橋小右衛門組へ入り、御城の御番を相勤めた事
一、同八寅年正月、又左衛門と改名したい旨、願いを聞き入れられた事
一、同九卯年十月、勤番のため江戸表へ上り、翌辰三月、勤番中に御上京御供を仰せ付けられ、御道中を騎馬打として御供相勤め、同四月に着府した。その際、女房の奉公事が御納めになられるまで御番を相勤めるよう仰せ付けられ相勤め、同月に帰国した事

Item: In the 4th month of Hōreki 7th year, Ox year, appointed to guard duty as requested by his father, joined Takahashi Koemon's unit and served castle guard duty
Item: In the 1st month of the same 8th year, Tiger year, his request to change his name to Mataemon was granted
Item: In the 10th month of the same 9th year, Rabbit year, went up to Edo for guard duty service. In the 3rd month of the following Dragon year, during his guard duty term, he was appointed to accompany the lord's journey to Kyoto, served as mounted escort during the journey, and arrived at the府 in the 4th month of the same year. At that time, he was ordered to continue guard duty until his wife's service obligations were completed, which he fulfilled, and returned home in the same month
