一天明七未年八月親願之通初而之
御目見被 仰付候事
一寛政元酉年正月大町通り講
所句読師被 仰付候
但追而学校誦師と唱候様被
仰付候事
一同四子年閏二月又左衛門と改名
仕度旨被任願候事
一同七卯年正月学校取計
被転誦師勤被成御免是まて
出精相勤候ニ付為御褒美綿壱
把被下置候事
一同九巳年正月友八郎と改名
仕度旨被任願候事
一同十二申年二月跡式御知行
四百石無御相違被下置御家老
附外様士被 仰付二番組へ入
現代語訳
南原舎人之助綱郷の女（里武。天明八申年誕生）
一、天明七未年八月、親の願いの通り初めての御目見えを仰せ付けられた事
一、寛政元酉年正月、大町通りの講所句読師を仰せ付けられた
但し追って学校誦師と唱えるよう仰せ付けられた事
一、同四子年閏二月、又左衛門と改名したい旨、願いの通りに任せられた事
一、同七卯年正月、学校取計へ転任し、誦師勤めを御免され、これまで出精して相勤めたことにつき、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれた事
一、同九巳年正月、友八郎と改名したい旨、願いの通りに任せられた事
一、同十二申年二月、跡式の御知行四百石を相違なく下し置かれ、御家老附外様士を仰せ付けられ、二番組へ入った

Daughter of Nambara Toneri-no-suke Tsunasato (Rību. Born in Tenmei 8th Monkey year)
1. In the 8th month of Tenmei 7th Sheep year, he was granted his first formal audience as requested by his father
1. In the 1st month of Kansei 1st Rooster year, he was appointed as reading instructor at the lecture hall on Ōmachi street
However, he was later appointed to be called school recitation teacher
1. In the intercalary 2nd month of Kansei 4th Rat year, his request to change his name to Matazaemon was granted
1. In the 1st month of Kansei 7th Rabbit year, he was transferred to school administration, relieved of his recitation teacher duties, and as a reward for his diligent service thus far, was given one bundle of cotton
1. In the 1st month of Kansei 9th Snake year, his request to change his name to Tomohachirō was granted
1. In the 2nd month of Kansei 12th Monkey year, he was granted his inherited stipend of 400 koku without change, appointed as an outer retainer attached to the chief retainer, and entered the second unit
