合戦（かつせん）に賊徒（ぞくと）魔（ま）【广】瞽（こ）風（ふう）の術（じゆつ）を行（おこな）ひ熱風（ねつぷう）国中（こくちう）に吹渡（ふきわた）り国民（こくみん）
熱気（ねつき）に侵（おか）され苦（くる）しみけるが淳直（じゆんちよく）が消魔（せうま）【广】風（ふう）の法（ほう）にて熱気（ねつき）

このように言い含められると、治瘡丸は一つ一つ了承し、兵を率いて出発していった。今度の合戦で賊徒魔瞽風が術を行い、熱風が国中に吹き渡り、国民が熱気に侵されて苦しんでいたが、淳直が消魔瞽風の法によって熱気を止め、その苦悩は止むといっても、眼の周辺があの熱風に打たれてから気血が散乱して腫れと痛みを発し、眼がすでに塞がろうとしている。
淳直はこれを聞いて急いで洗眼湯に命じ、これを救わせることにした。洗眼湯は眼に駆け向かい、薬水によって気血の散乱を治め、腫れと痛みを散らし、しばらくの間に効果を現し、眼の悩みは完全に平癒した。さて一方で、
梅毒軍は音に聞こえた延寿丸や黴効散等を一戦で打ち破ったので、今は薬軍の方に手立てとなる者はいないであろう。それならばこちらから逆襲して薬軍を踏み潰そうと評議しているところに、一人の小賊が駆けて来て

「私が物見をいたしますと、薬軍の方から一手の軍勢が『黴賊追討使治瘡丸』と書いた旗印を立てて柵外に来て陣を取っております。そこで密かに忍び入ってその様子を窺うと、四門の守りは厳重ですが、陣中は非常に油断している体で、将卒が寄り集まって酒宴を催しており、中央には大将治瘡丸と思しき者が酩酊して机にもたれかかり、諸卒を振り返って『今度の合戦で梅毒軍は非常に強く、名高い延寿丸や黴効散も一戦で打ち負かされた後で、私に再度討手の命が下り、やむを得ず向かうといっても、延寿丸や黴効散にすら切り勝つほどの強敵に、我が微力でどうして敵うであろうか。所詮明日の合戦では必ず討死と思われる。よって今宵は最期の酒宴をなすので、お前たちも度を過ごして飽くまでに飲み、今生の名残を尽くすべし』と

Having been thus instructed, Jisōgan acknowledged each point one by one and departed leading his troops. In this battle, the bandit demon Makofu performed his arts, causing hot winds to blow across the entire country, and while the people suffered from being invaded by the heat, Juncho stopped the heat with his method of dispelling the demon wind Makofu. Although their suffering ceased, the area around the eyes had been struck by that hot wind, causing the vital energy and blood to scatter in disorder, producing swelling and pain, and the eyes were about to close completely.
Hearing this, Juncho urgently commanded Sengan-tō to rescue them. Sengan-tō rushed to the eyes and used medicinal water to treat the disorder of vital energy and blood, dispersed the swelling and pain, and in a short time achieved success, completely curing the affliction of the eyes. Meanwhile,
having defeated in a single battle the famous Enjugan, Baikōsan and others whose reputations were well-known, the syphilis army concluded that there could no longer be anyone capable of resistance on the medicine army's side. "Then let us launch a counterattack from our side and crush the medicine army," they were discussing, when a minor bandit came running up.

"I have been on reconnaissance, and from the medicine army's side, a force of troops has come outside the palisade flying a banner inscribed 'Syphilis Bandit Subjugation Envoy Jisōgan' and has taken up position. So I secretly infiltrated to observe their situation, and while the defenses of the four gates are tight, the interior of the camp appears very careless, with officers and soldiers gathering together holding banquets. In the center, what appears to be the general Jisōgan is intoxicated and leaning against a desk, turning to his various soldiers and saying: 'In this battle the syphilis army is extremely strong, and even the famous Enjugan and Baikōsan were defeated in a single engagement. After that, I received orders for a second punitive expedition, and though I have no choice but to advance, against such a formidable enemy who could even defeat Enjugan and Baikōsan, how could my meager strength possibly prevail? In any case, tomorrow's battle will surely mean death in combat. Therefore tonight we hold our final banquet, so you too should drink excessively to your heart's content and exhaust this life's farewell.'"
