打 落（おと）すときに不思議（ふしぎ）や切口より白気（はくき）隠々（いん〳〵）と立上（たちのぼ）り其中（そのなか）よ

首を打ち落とすと不思議なことに、切り口から白い気が立ち上り、その中から声を発して「我が悪念は止まらず、病となって人体国を滅ぼそうとしたが、姿を変えたために神通力が衰え、汝らがこの人体国を守護することを知らなかった。一応の薬と思って共に戦ったが、ついにこの敗北を喫した。我が智勇は汝らに勝つことができず、この後汝らが向かう国へは再び姿を現すことはないだろう。今は本来の住処へ帰るのだ」と言うかと思えば、白い気はたちまち中空に集まり、やがて跡形もなく消えてしまった。薬軍はこれを見聞きして勇み喜び、梅毒王主従の首を容器に入れ、屍は陣屋と共に焼き払い、勝鬨を上げて引き上げた。淳直は延寿丸の度重なる功を褒美し、今は国中が全治したので凱旋すべきだと、諸道に向かった薬軍を召し返し、総軍勢をまとめて

王城に向かって帰り入った。国王はこれを聞き喜びに堪えかね、諸官人と共に遠く城門の外に出てこれを迎え、先導となって宮城に案内した。淳直は城中に入り国王に拝謁して軍の次第を語り、梅毒王主従の首を実検に供えると、国王は淳直らを称え「このような凶賊を容易く討ち取られることは、実に天神の再来と言うべきです。まず凱旋を祝って一献を進めましょう」として、大いに宴を設け、三日ほど山海の珍味を尽くして饗応し、宝蔵から種々の奇貨珍物を取り出して淳直や諸薬将に贈り、なおいつまでもこの国に住んでくださいと願った。淳直はこれを断り「我々はただ悪徒誅伐のために来た者です。今すでに諸国の賊兵は全く滅びたので、帰心は矢のごとく、しばらくも猶予しがたいのです」と答えた。

Hereafter, I shall never again show my form in any country you go to. Now I return to my original dwelling place." No sooner had it spoken than the white vapor suddenly gathered in mid-air and vanished without a trace. The medicine army, seeing and hearing this, rejoiced triumphantly. They placed the heads of the Syphilis King and his retainers in containers, burned the corpses along with the camp buildings, raised victory cries, and withdrew. Juncho praised Enjugan's repeated achievements, and since the entire country was now completely healed, he recalled the medicine armies that had been sent to various regions and assembled the entire military force.

They returned toward the royal castle. The king, hearing this news and unable to contain his joy, went out far beyond the castle gates together with all his court officials to welcome them, serving as their guide to lead them into the palace. Juncho entered the castle, had an audience with the king, related the course of the war, and presented the heads of the Syphilis King and his retainers for inspection. The king praised Juncho and his men, saying, "To have so easily defeated such vicious rebels - this can truly be called the return of heavenly deities! First, let us celebrate your triumph and offer a toast!" He then held a great banquet, exhausting all the delicacies of mountain and sea for three days of hospitality, and brought out various rare goods and precious objects from the treasure house to present to Juncho and the various medicine generals, entreating them to remain in this country forever. Juncho declined this offer, saying, "We came only to punish evildoers. Now that the rebel forces of all countries have been completely destroyed, our desire to return home is swift as an arrow, and we cannot delay even briefly."
