る土地である。南方の都を心の臓という。夏と火を司り、一切の赤色の物を尊び、その食は苦いものを好む。血脈の二道を管領し、小腸の府を支配する。甚だ温熱の土地である。この所が王都であって主人公が居る。北方の都を腎の臓という。冬と水を司り、一切の黒色の物を尊び、その食は塩辛いものを好む。骨髄・歯牙の諸道を管領し、膀胱の府を支配する。寒気の勝れた土地である。中央の都を脾の臓という。土と土用を司り、一切の黄色の物を尊び、その食は甘いものを好む。肌肉の二道を管領し、胃の府を支配する。温湿の土地である。
国中すべて九門があり、眼・耳・鼻各々二門、口門・水道門・穀道門である。このような人体国はその数無量無辺であって、その中に女国・男国の別がある。女国は男国に従い、男国は女国を恵む。女国を陰とし男国を陽とする。陰陽二国が和合してまた国を生じ、生々として止むことがない。一国ごとに定まった寿命があって、寿命が尽きれば滅する。ある時は百年、ある時は九十年・八十年、下って五十年・六十年を一寿命とする。
しかれども病という賊があって国を侵し悩まし、征討の度を誤る時は寿命を待たずして亡びることがある。また士農工商の差別がある。士国の中にも学問教諭を司る国があり、勇武経済を勤める国があり、医術方薬を事とする国がある。農国は少しの不同があるものの大概一例に力作をもって勤めとし、工国は工匠を勤めとし、商国は売買奔走を勤めとする。またその中に貴賤・貧富・強弱等の小分けがある。
前々は各国淳直であったが、末世に至っては国風いずれも衰え、士農工商ややもすれば自国の勤めを怠り、貴国は賤国を虐げ、富国は貧国を侮り、強国は弱国を制する。中でも医術国は彼の病

The two countries of yin and yang unite in harmony to give birth to new countries, continuously generating life without cease. Each country has a fixed lifespan, and when the lifespan is exhausted, it perishes. Sometimes it is a hundred years, sometimes ninety or eighty years, and in decline, fifty or sixty years constitute one lifespan.
However, there are bandits called diseases that invade and torment countries, and when the degree of military campaigns goes astray, countries may perish without waiting for their natural lifespan to end. There are also distinctions of warrior, farmer, artisan, and merchant classes. Among warrior countries, some govern learning and teaching, some are devoted to martial valor and economics, and some specialize in medical arts and pharmacology. Farmer countries, though having some minor differences, generally make physical labor their duty. Artisan countries make craftsmanship their duty, and merchant countries make buying, selling, and bustling commerce their duty. Within these there are also smaller divisions of noble and base, rich and poor, strong and weak.
In former times, each country was pure and honest, but in these latter days, the national customs have all declined. Warriors, farmers, artisans, and merchants tend to neglect their own countries' duties; noble countries oppress base countries, rich countries despise poor countries, and strong countries control weak countries.
