金銀織物を積んで贈り物とした。淳直はこれを受け取らずことごとく返し、かつ願って杯を収めさせ、「私はすでに諸国回復大元帥の任を受けております。しばらくも遊び楽しんでいるべきではありません。貴国平定の上は、直ちに次の属国に向かわねばなりません」と諸大将を催促し、暇を告げて立ち出ると、国王もその理に服し、あえて引き止めず、送って城外に出て、おのおの袂を分かつ時、福徳万吉国の俱生神が忽然と飛来し、淳直等を再拝して「わが国の主公が諸賢の来駕を受けたまわり、お迎えとして私を差し越しました。恐れながら、わが後につき給うべし。ご案内いたしましょう」と身を返して先に立ち、淳直は四天王と共に雁王の飛ぶがごとく空を凌いで急いだ。

その次の属国を福徳万吉という。この国へは上攻結毒、痔疾痔漏の両賊将が数多の兵を率いて攻め入り、口中門、穀道門に陣を張り、兵糧運送、穢物送下の道を遮り、また結毒の部下の小将湿頭痛が頭頂前髪際の辺りを乱暴し、その響きが眼耳等の諸門に徹し、一国これがために疲弊し、国王の憂苦、下民の嘆きは他の病国と同じではない。今度俱生神の勧めにより、篤実淳直並びにその手の薬将を呼び迎え、黴賊対治の事を付託する。淳直は国に入ってより直ちに諸道を巡見し、国中の形勢を察し終わり、国王に向かって申したことには「賊徒が所々の要路を断ち切り、国勢はすでに衰えたといえども、脈道の沈細なるは病症に応ずるところ、かつ腹部

The next vassal state is called Fukutoku-mankichi. Into this country, the two bandit generals Joko-ketsudoku and Jishitsu-jiro had invaded with numerous soldiers, set up camps at Kochumon and Kokudomon gates, blocking the roads for military provisions transport and waste disposal. Moreover, Ketsudoku's subordinate minor general Shitsu-dzutsu was rampaging around the area of the crown and front hairline, and the reverberations penetrated through various gates like the eyes and ears, causing the entire country to be exhausted by this.
