鮮魚介類其他の水産物を取扱ふ株式会社魚市場は其取引高一ヶ年七十一万五千四百二十円に上り、塩
干魚の丸一豊橋水産市場は六万九千五百八十一円に達し、豊橋委託運輸株式会社の青果市場は年額四十
万千円、東三青果市場は九万九千円の取引高を有して居る。
日用品小売市場としては新川及松葉の二公設市場があつて三十九万四千十八円の売上高あり、外に第
一豊橋、八町、高師、花田、東田の私設市場があつて一ヶ年に三十六万千四百五十四円の売上を有し直
接市民の需用に応じて居るが未だ十分なりと称し得ない程度である。
三 米穀取引所
其淵源最古く明和の頃の相場会所に其端を発し、爾来幾多の曲折を経て明治二十七年政府の免許を
得、株式会社として設立せられ、精算市場と倉庫業を併せ行ふやうになつたのである、最近一ヶ年の売
買高は実物取引三十九万九千五百二十六円に達し、市内は勿論東三地方の経済機関として重要視せられ
て居る。

産業の発達に伴ひ経営組織も個人経営より漸次会社組織に推移することは当然であるが、最近急激な
る進展を示し、昭和九年末には合名会社四十四、合資会社百九十、株式会社七十九、合計三百十二にな
つた、而して其資本額は三千五万八百五十円に達して居る、此等の会社を業態別にすれば
