店一ヶ所をも有せざる豊橋市として誠に遺憾千万と云はねばならぬ、今此等銀行の預金高を見るに年内
に取扱ひたる預金は二億五百六十九万七千六十四円、払戻は二億七十八万四千百三十五円であつて、昨
年末現在高は三千百四十六万五千五百四十四円である、又貸付高は年末現在では千二百六十万九千百七
十二円になつて居る、昨年中の手形交換所の交換高は十万六百一枚、三千四百七十七万二千五百九十九
円であるが、不渡手形は六十三枚、一万七千三百八十三円である。
外に無尽会社の本店一、出張所一あつて其口数七千四百八十九である、又信用事業を行ふ産業組合は
十六であり組合員数六千三百一人、公益質屋一、私設質屋二十八戸等である。
尚本市に於ける郵便貯金は昨年中の預入口数二十九万四千七百八、此金額三百六十八万二千八十一円
であつて新規預入人員は一万二千四百六十五人である、而して年内払戻口数は十一万六千二百三十、金
額四百十四万三千五百四十一円である。
次に本市内に於ける倉庫業者は東陽倉庫株式会社支店、マルケイ東海倉庫株式会社、相信倉庫合資会
社及共益運輸倉庫株式会社の四会社であつて倉庫の棟数四十七、戸前数七十一、建坪一万三千六百八十
七平方米である、昭和九年中に於ける入庫高は五十七万四千五百五十五個、千八百三十一万千六百五十
円であり、出庫高は五十二万九千百二十一個、千八百九万千三百五十五円であつて、年末現在では十二
万八千五百五十二個、三百二十五万五千六百八十九円である、今之を種類別にすれば、年末現在高の重
なるものは繭二百三十五万三千八百四十六円、内地米五十六万七千三百十五円、絹糸十八万八千二百七
円其他である。

市内には豊橋商工会議所、市農会、商工協会を初め各種の団体組合等があつて農工商の指導奨励に努
め、産業施設の発達、生産品の販路拡張斡旋、博覧会共進会見本市等の出品勧誘、調査研究、質疑応答、
講習講話会の開催、其他産業の振興に関する各種の施設経営に不断の努力を払うて居るのである、而し
て市内に於ける組合を類別すれば左の通である
