御子様方を住まわせているが、人手が薄いとお思いになるので、東海寺へ詰めるようにと仰せ付けられ、東海寺へ詰めていたところ、御上屋敷の修繕工事が完成し、二月二十二日に御子様方が上御屋敷へお引き取りになり、お供いたしました。しかし芝御屋敷はまだ囲いができていない状態でしたので、芝御屋敷に在勤するようにと直接仰せ付けられ、定御屋敷に在勤していたところ、同所の御普請で一柳平左衛門と共に総奉行を仰せ付けられ、翌戌年四月に工事が完成し、芝御屋敷へお移りになりました

一 同月 三田御屋敷の工事が仰せ付けられ、工事奉行として嶋田覚左衛門が任命されたので、時々見回りをするようにと仰せ付けられました。御屋敷の連之間や御台所が大体完成したため、十一月に会津へ帰りました
一 万治元年（戌年）六月 この度松嶺院様の御祝儀により御輿付を仰せ付けられ、御加増四百石を下賜されましたが、その後右の御役儀が廃止されたため、御加増四百石は召し上げられ、以前の

Young lords were staying [at Tōkaiji Temple], but thinking that staffing was insufficient, I was ordered to be stationed at Tōkaiji Temple. While stationed there, repairs to the upper residence were completed, and on the twenty-second day of the second month, the young lords moved back to the upper residence, which I accompanied. However, since the Shiba residence still did not have proper enclosures, I was directly ordered to be stationed at the Shiba residence. While stationed at the regular residence, I was appointed as head overseer together with Ichiyanagi Heizaemon for construction work at that location. The following year (Year of the Dog), in the fourth month, the construction was completed and [the lords] moved to the Shiba residence
