ございます、弟子たちに取らせる。ただし弟子たちはまだ欲しがって腰掛けている人々に取らせる、同じく魚も。皆が食べ終わった時に、弟子たちに言った。こぼれているのを寄せよ、こぼしてはならぬ。それゆえ五つの大麦パンを食べてからこぼれているのを寄せて、十二かごへ詰める。人間はイエスが作った不思議なことを見て言った。あの人こそ世界へ来る前から知っている人。イエスはあの人たちが人を捕まえに、人を殿様にするために来たいことを知っている、再び一人山へ登った。日の暮れ時に弟子たちは湖へ行った。船に乗って、湖を差し渡し、カペナウム村へついて行く。暗い時にイエスはまだついて来ない。大風吹きに湖は大波立ち、船は漕いでから二十町か三十町もある。あの人たちはイエスを海の上を歩んで近寄るのを見て驚く。あの人たちに言った、私らに、

giving thanks, he distributed to the disciples. But the disciples still distributed to those who wanted more and were sitting down, and likewise the fish. When they had all eaten their fill, he said to the disciples, "Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing may be lost." So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves. When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, "This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world." Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself. When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea. They got into a boat and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. A strong wind was blowing, and the sea became rough. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. But he said to them,
