一寛政七卯年六月親願い之通御番
代外様組付き仰せ付けられ候事
但し家老附き三番組ニ入 御城御番
相勤め候事
一同九巳年八月本郷原追鳥狩之節
罷り出で候事
一同年九月当追鳥狩之節列伍之
次第足並等一体聯属いたし別して
宜しく相揃え候段出精致し候儀と思召し候故
相組一同御称美成し下され候事
一同十午年七月去ル卯年より去る年中
迄槍術稽古引通し精出七分以上之
業いたし候段奇特ニ思召し候段
仰せ出でられ候事
一同十一未年六月熱塩村へ遠馬致し
候由之処手際よ宜しく相聞け候ニ付き御褒美として
轡弐間下し置かれ候事
一同年九月本郷原追鳥狩之節罷り

the hunting exercise (tsuitori-gari) at Hongōhara
First Same year, 9th month: During the current hunting exercise, the
formation order, marching pace, and overall coordination were
exceptionally well-maintained, demonstrating diligent effort, which pleased [the lord]

First Same 10th year (Year of the Horse), 7th month: From the previous Year of the Rabbit until the previous year,
he continued spear technique practice with dedication, achieving skill level
of seven-tenths or higher, which was considered remarkable
and was officially commended

and since his performance was reported to be excellent, as a reward
he was granted two ken of horse bits
