一同八辰年九月槍術怠らず出精致し業
　をいたし奇特成る義ニ候之ニ依って御酒
　下し置かれ此後猶以て懈怠無く仕り合い業等相励みニ　て之在るべく思召され候旨仰せ出でられ候事
一同九巳年教場手伝い兼務御用
　繁多ニ行及ばず候間願いの上教場手伝い
　御免成下され候事
一同十二申年三月朽木学之進町蔵
　奉行仮役中右諸教場手伝い相勤め候
　様仰せ付けられ候事

一文化二丑年十二月武講懸り勤め幷
　教場立添え之手伝い精出し相勤め候ニ付き
　御褒美として銀子三枚下し置かれ候事
一同四卯年二月願い之通り武講懸り勤め
　御免成下され候事
一同年五月八日六拾壱歳ニて病死法名
　心膽院節武義敬居士葬所同上

現代語訳

一、同八年（辰年）九月　槍術を怠らず精進して技術を向上させ、感心な行いでありますので御酒を下賜され、今後もなお一層怠ることなく仕合いや技術等に励むようにとのお考えである旨仰せ出されました

一、同九年（巳年）　教場手伝い兼務の御用が多忙で手が回らなくなりましたので、願い出の上、教場手伝いを免除していただきました

一、同十二年（申年）三月　朽木学之進が町蔵奉行仮役を務めている間、右の諸教場手伝いを勤めるよう仰せ付けられました

一、文化二年（丑年）十二月　武講掛りの勤務並びに教場立会いの手伝いを精励して勤めましたので、御褒美として銀子三枚を下賜されました

一、同四年（卯年）二月　願いの通り武講掛りの勤めを免除していただきました

一、同年五月八日　六十一歳で病死　法名は心膽院節武義敬居士　葬所は同上

女子　宝暦四年（戌年）正月十五日病死　法名は妙詮童女　葬所は同上

英語訳

First, same 8th year (Year of the Dragon), 9th month: He diligently practiced spear techniques without neglect, improving his skills, and because this was commendable behavior, he was given sake as a reward, and it was announced that His Lordship's intention was for him to continue working even harder without laziness in training and technique.

First, same 9th year (Year of the Snake): The duties of assisting at the training ground while serving concurrently became too busy to manage, so upon his request, he was relieved of his training ground assistant duties.

First, same 12th year (Year of the Monkey), 3rd month: While Kuchiki Gakuunoshin was serving as temporary magistrate of the town storehouse, he was ordered to assist with the various training grounds.

First, Bunka 2nd year (Year of the Ox), 12th month: Since he diligently served as martial arts instructor and assisted with training ground supervision, he was given three pieces of silver as a reward.

First, same 4th year (Year of the Rabbit), 2nd month: As requested, he was relieved of his duties as martial arts instructor.

First, same year, 5th month, 8th day: He died of illness at age 61. His posthumous Buddhist name was Shintanin Setsubu Gikei Koji. Burial site: same as above.

Daughter: Died of illness on the 15th day of the 1st month of Hōreki 4th year (Year of the Dog). Posthumous Buddhist name was Myōsen Dōjo. Burial site: same as above.
