現代語訳
一、同年九月、文六郎と改名したい旨、願いを任せられた。
一、同三（寅）年九月、会所役人を仰せ付けられた。
一、元禄七（戊）年二月、願いの通り御役を御免され、会所次番を仰せ付けられた。年若い者であるので病気の際は養生し、本服以後は本役に召し使われるべき旨仰せ出された。
一、同八（亥）年十一月、蝋燭漆受払役人を仰せ付けられた。
一、宝永三（戌）年五月、大分の蝋燭が紛失し、度々盗まれた由。詮索の上、不分明であった。その上数年勘定を怠った段、ともに役人に似合わず、勤め方が不届きであるため、切腹を仰せ付けられた。

一、宝永三（戌）年六月、初之助が年四つになった由、親族共に御預けされ、十五歳になった節、御追放を仰せ付けられるのが然るべきと伺ったところ、追って

Both matters were deemed unbecoming of an official, and his service was considered negligent, therefore he was ordered to commit seppuku.
