His posthumous Buddhist name was Shinkōin Shōyo Ju■ Koji, and he was buried at Gokurakuji Temple on Mount Bodai. Kan'emon Mitsugin (originally named Kanjirō, also called Sukeshichi. Born on the twentieth day of the eleventh month of Kyōhō 9 [1724])  Mother: Daughter of the Ehara family  Wife: Daughter of Nakayama Jizaemon Kiyoshiki (Born in Kyōhō 8 [1723], died of illness on the seventh day of the eighth month of An'ei 5 [1776] at age fifty-four.
