江戸に上った際、外様御雇御使等を仰せ付けられた。
但し、この後一度上った際も右同様に仰せ付けられた。
宝暦三年酉年七月、親の願いの通り御番代を仰せ付けられ、諏方伊助組へ入り、御城御番を相勤めた。
同七年丑年正月、御供番を仰せ付けられた。
同年十月、勤番のため江戸表へ上り、翌寅年四月に下った。
但し、右の陣中において精を出し滞りなく相勤めた旨を仰せ出された。

When he went up to Edo, he was appointed to positions such as gaikaku goyō tsukai (messenger for outside domains).
However, when he went up once more after this, he was appointed to similar positions.
In the seventh month of Hōreki 3 (1753), as requested by his father, he was appointed as a guard substitute and joined Suwa Isuke's unit, serving as a castle guard.
In the first month of Hōreki 7 (1757), he was appointed as an attendant guard.
In the tenth month of the same year, he went up to Edo for guard duty and returned in the fourth month of the following year (1758).
