現代語訳

同六年午年六月、持病の脳梗塞により物覚えが薄くなり、視力も衰えてきたため、現在の御役を免除していただき、悴の留吉に御番代を仰せ付けていただきたい旨を願い申し上げたところ、保養に専念して相勤めするよう仰せ付けられた。 同七年未年十月、願いの通り御役を免除され、忰の助七に御番代を仰せ付けられた。 寛政五年丑年四月、願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられた。 享和二年戌年四月九日、七十九歳にて病死。法名は心覚院会誉静専居士。葬所は同上。 女(享保十一年午年誕生、安永八年亥年六月十四日五十四歳にて病死、法名夏雲院耀静声大姉、葬所同上) 浅岡甚五左衛門勝俊妻(離別) 猪狩忠太夫満均妻同 清水覚野右衛門永重妻同 小池覚左衛門成尹妻同 河野喜太郎伊通妻同 母 同上 女(宝暦三年酉年誕生、同八年寅年二月十九日六歳にて病死、法名転誉童女、葬所同上)

In the sixth month of Tenmei 6 (1786), due to his chronic illness affecting his memory and eyesight becoming weak, he petitioned to be relieved of his current duties and requested that his son Tomekichi be appointed as his substitute. However, he was ordered to focus on recuperating while continuing his service. In the tenth month of Tenmei 7 (1787), his petition was granted and he was relieved of his duties, with his son Sukeshichi appointed as his substitute. In the fourth month of Kansei 5 (1793), his petition was granted and he was permitted to retire. He died of illness on the ninth day of the fourth month of Kyōwa 2 (1802) at the age of seventy-nine. His posthumous Buddhist name was Shinkaku-in Kaiyō Seisen Koji. Burial site: same as above.
