現代語訳
の代替のため跡役として日向三郎右衛門組に配属となった。
寛政五年丑年四月、家督として御知行百石を相違なく下し置かれた。
同年十一月、神尾小源次四男松四郎を婿養子にしたい旨を願い出て許可された。
同七年卯年九月、追鳥狩の際に出仕した。
ただしこの後四度出仕した。
同年十二月、当追鳥狩の際、列伍の次第、足並み進退等が滞りなく、兼ねてから内習もして出精している儀と思し召しとのことで、所属組一同が御称美を成し下された。
ただしこの後毎度御称美を成し下された。
同九年巳年正月、御城御番を怠けることなく相勤めている段を仰せ出された。
文化元年子年十月、勘右衛門と改名したい旨を願い出て許可された。
同二年丑年、願いの通り悴（息子）隼人が御番代を仰せ付けられた。
文政元年寅年六月六日、六十四歳にて病死、法名本誓院覚誉栄正居士

was transferred to Hyūga Saburōemon's group as a replacement for the previous position.
In the fourth month of Kansei 5 (1793), he was granted a hereditary stipend of 100 koku without change.
In the eleventh month of the same year, his request to adopt Matsushirō, the fourth son of Kanao Kogenji, as son-in-law was granted.
In the ninth month of Kansei 7 (1795), he participated in the hunting expedition (tsuitori-gari).
Note: He participated four more times after this.
In the twelfth month of the same year, during the hunting expedition, his formation order, marching pace, and movements were flawless, and it was deemed that he had been diligent in his private training, for which his entire unit received commendation.
Note: He continued to receive commendations on every subsequent occasion.
In the first month of Kansei 9 (1797), it was announced that he had performed his castle guard duties without negligence.
In the tenth month of Bunka 1 (1804), his request to change his name to Kan'emon was granted.
In Bunka 2 (1805), as requested, his son Hayato was appointed as guard substitute.
On the sixth day of the sixth month of Bunsei 1 (1818), he died of illness at age sixty-four, posthumous name Honsei-in Kakuyo Eishō Koji.
