　相勤候ニ付仲ケ間願之通初而之
　御目見被　仰付候事
一天明五巳年四月跡式御知行百石無
　御相違被下置外様組付被　仰付
　萱野権兵衛組ニ而　御城御番相勤
　候事
一寛政四子年三月追鳥狩之節罷
　出候
　　但此後三度罷出内壱度獲拝
　　領仕候事

一同月追鳥狩手始之処出精在之候
　と相見隊々宜相揃組士之儀ハ右被
　仰付以前足并稽古迚も有之間敷
　尤日間も無之俄ニ候処宜相揃候様
　御覧被成候御沙汰ニ候旨相組一同
　御称美被成下候
　　但此後毎度御称美被成下候
一同七卯年九月去子年ゟ去年
　中迄槍術稽古引通致出精候ニ付
　為褒御美綿壱把被下置候事

現代語訳

相勤めたため、仲間の願いの通り初めての御目見えを仰せ付けられた事

一、天明五巳年四月、跡式御知行百石を相違なく下し置かれ、外様組付を仰せ付けられ、萱野権兵衛組にて御城御番を相勤めた事

一、寛政四子年三月、追鳥狩の節に罷り出た
　但し、この後三度罷り出て、うち一度獲物を拝領仕った事

一、同月、追鳥狩の手始めの処、出精があったと相見え、隊々よく相揃い、組士の儀は右を仰せ付けられる以前は足並みや稽古等もあるまじく、もっとも日数もなく俄であった処、よく相揃った様子を御覧になられた御沙汰である旨、相組一同を御称美成し下された
　但し、この後毎度御称美を成し下された

一、同七卯年九月、去る子年より去年中まで槍術稽古を引き通して出精したため、褒美として御美綿一把を下し置かれた事

served well, so as requested by his colleagues, he was granted his first formal audience with the lord.

First, in Tenmei 5th year, year of the snake, 4th month, he was granted the hereditary fief of 100 koku without change, appointed to the tozama group, and served castle guard duty in Kayano Gonbei's unit.

First, in Kansei 4th year, year of the rat, 3rd month, he participated in the falcon hunting expedition.
Note: After this, he participated three more times, and on one occasion received game as a reward.

First, in the same month, at the beginning of the falcon hunting, his diligent effort was evident, the troops were well-organized, and regarding the group warriors, before this appointment there would have been no proper formation or training. Moreover, despite the short notice and sudden nature of the event, they appeared well-organized when observed. This was praised by his lordship, and the entire unit was commended together.
Note: From this time forward, they were regularly commended.

First, in the same 7th year, year of the rabbit, 9th month, because he had continuously practiced spear technique with great diligence from the previous year of the rat until the previous year, he was granted one bundle of fine cotton as a reward.
