数を減らす大毒であると知るべきである。さて、また桑畑を別に仕立てる場所は言うまでもなく、耕作畑の傍らに植え付けておく土地においては、桑を摘む頃は耕作・仕付けの時節なので、肥料・肥やしが畑に入り、桑にもかかるものなので、蒔き入れした畑の桑は大雨が降った後まではとらないように心得るべきである。糞肥をかけてほど近い桑を与える時は、蚕はみな口より青い水を出して死ぬものである。
