I once observed a blue-eyed small child floating a small boat on the sea. Sometimes standing on the stern, sometimes spreading both arms wide and shouting with delight, calling it "pleasant." When I inquired about this, I was told, "He is English-born." Indeed, that race has long grown up in a maritime nation, seeking profit in distant foreign lands thousands of miles away, deploying military forces in unpredictable foreign countries, with a spirit of courage that never ceases for a moment.
