右の注進の後、いよいよ火気が激しくなり、土砂や石礫を吹き飛ばし、近国二十里四方へ砂石を降らせた。中でも伊豆・相模・駿河は所によっては二丈余りも降り積もり、堂社や民屋も埋まり、田畑の荒廃は数え切れないほどであった。日を経てようやく噴火が鎮まった。その土砂を吹き出した所は穴となり、その穴の口に大きな塊山を生じた。世俗はこれを呼んで宝永山と号する。本街道より眺めれば右流れの半腹にあの塊ができて瘤のようである。三国無双の名山にこの時少しの瑕ができたことは
