にかしつき参らせ、幾世をかかさねさせ候、此島は神島
にて、此明神の御島にて候、もし島をはなれて余所へ渡

If anyone breaks the prohibition and forcibly tries to look, by the time they return they will have suffered divine punishment, and few people return alive. Because the deity is so spiritually powerful, there is no one on the entire island who does not revere it. In ancient times, people with crimes were exiled to this island, but now criminals never come at all. The north is called Okada Village. The east is called Nomashi Village.
