また、もし人が害を受けようとする時に観世音菩薩の名を称える者があれば、その者が持つ刀や杖はたちまち段々に砕け壊れて、その人は解脱を得ることができる。

Moreover, if there should be a person who, when about to be harmed, calls upon the name of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, then the swords and staffs held by those [who would harm them] will immediately break into pieces, and that person will attain deliverance.
