聞其称観世音菩薩名者是諸悪鬼尚不能
以悪眼視之况復加害

もし三千大千世界に夜叉や羅刹が満ちて、人々を悩まそうとして来ても、その観世音菩薩の名を称えるのを聞けば、これらの悪鬼どもは悪い眼でその人を見ることさえできず、まして害を加えることなどできない。

If the three-thousand great thousand worlds were filled with yakshas and rakshasas who wished to come and torment people, upon hearing them call upon the name of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, these evil demons would not even be able to look upon such a person with evil eyes, much less cause them harm.
