天正第十三《割書：乙》酉五月廿九歳逝去《割書：或云鏡識ノ国胤邦胤ト同人ナラハ永禄十二年ハ十三歳｜ニテ父ノ富胤丗九ノ時ナリ未タ家督セス千葉新介トアルヘキハ》

医王山（いわうさん）薬王院（やくわういん）善照寺（せんせうし） 同所（とうしよ）にあり《割書：浅間社（せんけんやしろ）の東北｜六七丁 許（はかり）にあり》続紀（しよくき）に載（のす）る所（ところ）の下総国（しもふさのくに）
国分尼寺（こくふんにし）は即（すなはち）此寺（このてら）のことなり《割書：国分寺（こくふんじ）の條｜見合（みあは）すへし》天平（てんひやう）の昔（むか）し 聖武天皇（しやうむてんわう）の勅願（ちよくくはん）
にて建立（こんりう）ありし毎国（まいこく）一宇（いちう）の霊場（れいしやう）なり開山（かいさん）を全照尼（せんせうに）と云（いふ）《割書：銅牌（とうはい）の識（しき）に見（み）えたり善｜照寺と云は此尼の法号を》
《割書：寺号とせしならん全（せん）と善（せん）とは一韵（いちいん）の転（うつ）りなり｜○此寺（このてら）中興（ちうこう）は大永中隆範（たいえいちうりうはん）上人なりとそ》本尊（ほんぞん）の薬王菩薩（やくわうぼさつ）は天平（てんへう）の安置（あんち）なり
《割書：何（いつれ）の比（ころ）にや住持（ぢうじ）の僧（さう）其（その）古雅（こが）なるを嫌（きらひ）て是（これ）を末寺（まつし）の正徳寺（しやうとくじ）といふ寺（てら）に送（おく）り別（へつ）に新（あらた）に｜造（つく）り替（かへ）たれと旧物（きうふつ）も今（いま）に存（そん）せり秘仏（ひふつ）なりとて容易（いようい）に見（み）せしめす》新義真（しんぎしん）
言宗（ごんしう）にて京師（けいし）醍醐（だいご）の三宝院（さんはういん）に属（しよく）す今（いま）は此地（このち）の浅間社（せんけんしや）の別当（へつたう）を兼（かね）勤（つと）む

天正十三年乙酉五月、二十九歳で逝去した。《あるいは言うには、鏡の銘文の国胤と邦胤が同一人物であるならば、永禄十二年は十三歳で、父の富胤が三十九歳の時である。まだ家督を継いでおらず、千葉新介とあるべきである》《という》
医王山薬王院善照寺 同所にある。《浅間社の東北六、七町ほどのところにある》続日本紀に記載されている下総国国分尼寺は、すなわちこの寺のことである。《国分寺の条と見合わせるべし》天平の昔、聖武天皇の勅願によって建立された、各国一箇所の霊場である。開山を全照尼という。《銅牌の銘文に見えている。善照寺というのは、この尼の法号を寺号としたのであろう。「全」と「善」とは同じ音韻の転訛である。○この寺の中興は大永年間の隆範上人であるという》本尊の薬王菩薩は天平時代の安置である。
《いつの頃か、住持の僧がその古雅なるを嫌って、これを末寺の正徳寺という寺に送り、別に新たに造り替えたが、旧物も今に存在している。秘仏であるとして容易に見せようとしない》新義真言宗で、京都醍醐の三宝院に属している。今はこの地の浅間社の別当を兼務している。
《考えるに、この寺は寺号も変わらず、銅牌も域内より出土したということなので、寺地も元のままであることが推察される》
文政十年丁亥七月、寺の普請に際して地中を掘った時に取り出したという墓版は、長一尺二寸、幅三寸、厚さ五厘ほどである。《考えるに、皇朝金石編に船○の史王○の墓版を載せており、銅牌は長九寸七分、幅二寸二分、厚五厘とあり、当時の墓版の規格とほぼ相似している》

He had not yet inherited the family headship and should be called Chiba Shin-suke》《it is said》
Iōzan Yakuō-in Zenshō-ji Temple - Located in the same place. 《About six or seven chō northeast of Sengen Shrine》The Shimōsa Province provincial nunnery recorded in the Shoku Nihongi is precisely this temple. 《Compare with the section on Kokubun-ji》This is a sacred site, one per province, established in the Tenpyō era by imperial decree of Emperor Shōmu. The founding abbess is called Zenshō-ni. 《This appears in the inscription on a bronze plaque. The name Zenshō-ji probably derives from using this nun's dharma name as the temple name. "Zen" and "Sen" are phonetic variations of the same sound. ○The temple's restoration was carried out by the monk Ryūhan during the Taiei period》The principal image of Yakuō Bodhisattva dates from the Tenpyō period.
《At some point, the head priest, disliking its ancient appearance, sent it to a subsidiary temple called Shōtoku-ji and had a new one made separately, but the old image still exists today. It is kept as a secret Buddha and not easily shown to visitors》It belongs to the Shingon Shingi sect and is affiliated with Sanbō-in at Daigo in Kyoto. Currently it also serves as the administrative temple for the local Sengen Shrine.
《Upon consideration, since this temple's name has not changed and the bronze plaque was excavated from within the grounds, it can be inferred that the temple site remains in its original location》
In Bunsei 10, year of the fire boar, seventh month, during temple repairs when they dug into the ground, a grave marker was discovered measuring one shaku two sun in length, three sun in width, and about five rin in thickness. 《Upon consideration, the Kōchō Kinseki-hen records grave markers of Shi-ō of Funa○, with bronze plaques measuring nine sun seven bu in length, two sun two bu in width, and five rin in thickness, which closely resembles the specifications of grave markers of that period》
