の内を様々お尋ねになったけれども見えなかったということが聞こえた。もしかすると打ち折れてしまったのかもしれず、ついに出てこなかったという。《割書：云々 節文 からめき川は「からめて川」の誤りであろう。今、国府台の裏道を「からめての道」と言う。この辺りの川のことであろう。江戸名所図会に更級日記の「かがみの瀬」の誤りかとするのは間違いであろう。》

禅宗曹洞派で関東総録司三ヶ寺の一つである。本尊は釈迦如来、開基は佐々木氏頼《割書：永徳三年創建》、開山は通幻寂霊和尚である。この寺はもともと近江国馬場村にあったが、天正三年に北条氏政の計らいで関宿宇和田の地に移った《割書：今、臨川庵という寺がその跡地である》。元和三年に内町の地に移したが、内町の地もしばしば洪水の被害があったので、寛文三年にまたこの地に移った。

Ankokusan Soneiji Temple is located in Konodai Village, with temple lands of 128.5 koku {{Marginal note: Tensho 19, year of the Metal Rabbit, 11th month. The land is in both Konodai Village and Yahata Village}}
It is a Zen temple of the Soto sect, one of the three temples serving as Kanto General Registrars. The principal image is Shakyamuni Buddha, the founder was Sasaki Ujiyori {{Marginal note: Founded in Eitoku 3}}, and the founding abbot was Tsugen Jakreiōshō. This temple was originally located in Baba Village in Omi Province, but in Tensho 3 it was moved to Uwawada in Sekiyado through the arrangements of Hojo Ujimasa {{Marginal note: The present Rinsen-an temple stands on that site}}. In Genna 3 it was moved to Uchimachi, but since Uchimachi frequently suffered from floods, in Kanbun 3 it was moved again to this location.

○This place is the ancient site of the provincial government office (kokufu), with precipitous topography and extensive grounds. There is a stone dismounting marker by the roadside, said to have been granted by Sasaki Ujiyori {{Marginal note: There is said to be a Koji-era notice board recording the name Toyama Yajiro, but since in the Koji era the temple had not yet moved to Sekiyado, this should be carefully reconsidered}}.
